Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is a process that can improve people’s well-being by changing their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour, which are often the cause of many problems. NLP deals with the connections between the neurological processes of our brains (‘neuro’), language (‘linguisitic’) and behavioural patterns that we have learned through experience. Through NLP, these patterns can be organised to make changes that can help us achieve particular goals.
About Neuro Linguistic Programming
Our perception of the world, and the way in which we react to events, is largely based on the sensory data from the five senses, comprising sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. NLP techniques are highly effective because they build on our personal experiences through these senses, to show us how to get the results we want quickly and with lasting effects.
NLP can provide us with a greater awareness of what we do to create our perceived reality and so enable a more conscious approach to facilitating change. This can dramatically improve your quality of life by giving you more freedom of choice in what you do and how you live.
What happens during the session?
During your session, your therapist, Miranda will maintain that safe and confidential space to facilitate your change. This enables you to either, consciously, through conversation OR in a deeply relaxed focused state (incorporating hypnosis) find different, unbiased perspectives on your situation.
Using NLP through combinations of conversation, visualisation, recall of memories or desired outcomes you will be assisted and directed to your best outcome and goals.
