Hypnotherapy for Children
My experience of working with children of all ages and various issues has been growing extensively since 2010.
Personally, I find they are wonderful to work with because their imaginations are vast and they don’t tend to have such heavy adult perspectives of the issues at hand or how hypnosis can help them – their expectations are much more open to the help at hand.
Working with children in today’s society is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Although their life experience is much shorter – children, be it teens or younger, still experience about 95% of the same issues that adults do. Yet unfortunately, as either the the parents or guardians, you will find relatively few regulated Hypnotherapists, who are experience and confident in helping or working with them.
Types of Issues that can be addressed using Hypnotherapy for children:
- Anger issues
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Exam stress
- Fears and phobias
- Nervous tics and bodily twitches
- Panic attacks
- PTSD – coping after a traumatic event or loss
- Skin conditions
- Sleep strategies
- Stress release.
